Even when we are apart, these are my wishes for you. I pray to God that you are always protected. I pray that the care will eventually overcome the wounds. This is what I wish for you to understand -- that life without you as a best friend is always an incomplete life. This blessing is what virtual reality cannot capture, interactions in real life cannot explain, time cannot erase - the look in your eyes. Before I changed, I trusted you and you had my heart. When I've changed, I feel the same way. I believe you not because I want to, but because the path has somehow been carved that way. It's a voice that you yourself made.

Be careful..

"Whoever assists in helping the murder of a muslim even with one word, he/she will not receive Allah swt's mercy" (Ibnu majah)

Wednesday, 4 November 2009

I feel that..

I feel that some of the usual past troubles are finally gone,

I feel that I am no longer chained by what I used to slightly fear,

I feel that the path of which I have always wanted - has just
started to carve its way much further,

I feel that this path is becoming an extra pillar of hope and closer to my
heart - an old hope renewed and gazes never forgotten,

I feel that I have more than just learnt to forget about something that
once pulled me down to the far bottom - that almost felt like it never
existed,

I feel that in spite of the surfaces - words fail to describe the love,
loyalty that remain untouched by even the most cutting of rocks,

Salam alaikum,

Due to the potential of enemies to our faith (Islam) out there trying to seek more

personal information about me, I have saved and hidden a lot of my blog entries.

You can email me at
izzatiizzatiizzati@yahoo.com if you have any enquiries about beneficial

information and insha Allah, I will try my best to be there.

May Allah swt bless, guide each and every one of you who took the time to ponder upon my blog.

From my heart to a person

A writer's passionate words, huhu;

You were my best friend, and someone who always held my hand (I mean this in metaphorical sense). You knew me when I was lost, you knew me when I was still trying to find a few more meanings in this life of which I have found now, as I have grown to be a stronger woman with more strict principles (alhamdulillah).

All these years, when we stopped being best friends and just had complicated times because of our history, I tell you honestly now, I've always felt incomplete.

I know I have my best friends in my life who make me smile, who make my homes feel warm, who take the most beautiful photos with me, who bring me even more meanings in this life - but I still see you as my best friend.

I have asked myself, why is it, that no matter how many people have come into my life (some face-to-face, a few online), it doesn't lessen me from missing you? So it doesn't matter if more people come into my life, no one can replace you perfectly.

I miss you being a closer part of my life. I miss you being the best friend I could call and ask for help or naively talk about my childish troubles to ,for many hours like what I used to do. A few times in my prayer, I even asked that the dream of having all the pieces back together - is even a dream bigger than any dream for me that possibly consists of money or fame.

I miss you so much.

Let's talk about all the years afterwards. All these years, you see, in spite of the good and bad memories, I admit with a choke that I see these years as incomplete because I went through them not being as close to you as I wanted to be. I know perfectly well, it was me who cut off the ties, a very long time ago, but it is me who needs you and I know this doesn't end. Though I am thankful that there have been several times I felt connected to you and you never seem to completely cut me off in spite of the mistakes I made in the past, such mistakes have faded in the sands of time, and I hope you understand. For these little things, I am thankful and I can't help but say I see you as a blessing.

Are you surprised that until now, I still have that 'incomplete' feeling? Yes I do but as usual, I keep up a certain facade.

I am putting this up in my blog, with the hope that you read this. Or at least someone else directs you to read it.

I need you, please trust me.

Most of us know that in Islam, war is considered acceptable when all other peaceful alternatives have been exhausted and when fighting against people who fight us for our faith.

And "..Let there be no hostility except to those who practise oppression.." (Al-Baqarah, Verse 193)

So anyway, I want to talk about two verses that skeptics seemingly like to point out.

Surah 4

In relation to slavery;

"If ye fear that ye shall not be able to deal justly with the orphans, Marry women of your choice, Two or three or four; but if ye fear that ye shall not be able to deal justly (with them), then only one, or (a captive) that your right hands possess, that will be more suitable, to prevent you from doing injustice." (4:3)

"Serve God, and join not any partners with Him; and do good- to parents, kinsfolk, orphans, those in need, neighbours who are near, neighbours who are strangers, the companion by your side, the wayfarer (ye meet), and what your right hands possess: For God loveth not the arrogant, the vainglorious" ( 4:36)

Do you know what "right hand possession" means?

Right hand possession: Human-captives of war who lived as slaves among Muslims, and Islam has already covered what is acceptable within the context of war.

The verse in the Quran CLEARLY states that men are to "do good" to what their "right hands possess."

Dr. Taha Jaber Al- Alwani President of the graduate school of Islamic and social sciences and president of the Fiqh council writes this concerning slavery:

"When Allah created human beings, He created them to be free and to be vicegerents on the earth. Slavery is something that came from people who couldn't understand the position of the human being and it was made, in the past, as a global phenomenon.

When Islam came, it tried to bring change to get the human being back to being free, as Allah has created us, by certain procedures. Those procedures of Islam went through without interference from the other nations or states who are non-Muslim states or nations. Maybe within the third century of Hijrah or the migration of the Prophet to Madinah, this phenomenon would have been over and disappeared. But as I mentioned, because it was a global phenomenon, that procedure which was established by Islam couldn't go through and finish with this very bad phenomenon.

Now, al-hamdulillah all people have agreed to stop this phenomenon and stand up against it. With this, there is no way to go back to adopt this phenomenon again in any way, especially for Muslims, since they must protect the freedom of others and always be with their rights to be free servants of Allah only. We should remember when the Caliph `Umar Ibn Al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) said in a famous khutbah (Speech or sermon) of his, "When did you make the people as slaves or servants of you while Allah, the Almighty, created them free?!"

This means that the Muslims from the very beginning advocated the freedom of all human beings and were against the oppression of free people by tyrants and dictator leaders."

Having clarified the above, we would like to states that it was a war custom in the past to take men and women as captives and then turn them into slaves. Islam did not initiate it, rather, it was something in practice long ago before the advent of Islam. And when Islam came, it tried to eradicate this practice, bit by bit. So it first restricted it to the reciprocal practice of war, in the sense that Muslims took war captives just as the enemies did with them."

My Muslim brothers and sisters, please don't get fooled by these deceivers who are just ignorant in spreading anti Islamic lies. There is no imperfection in the Holy Quran. Just some people who are ignorant, and we will refute the lies made by them, one by one, gradually through time INSYA ALLAH.

Let them say what they want, we will fight (not literally with violence lah) with the truths.

It is practical that noble verses were revealed in gradual stages through the noble Quran. It is for us to study them, with faith in Allah.

"It is We Who have sent down the Quran to thee by stages. (The Noble Quran, 76:23)"

The "We" here is the majestic "We" used in Arabic language. It is a MAJESTIC term.

ALLAH IS ONE, THERE IS NO GOD BUT ALLAH

Okay then, all praise to only Allah .... only weaknesses are mine.

Assalamualaikum... Bye2

ABOUT JIHAD (please read)

Title: Islam the religion of peace and justice...

When talking about armed jihad...

War as a last resort

Even though Islam permits armed jihad, it prefers peace (The Quran, 8:61). Furthermore, the nature of Islam itself as a religion of peace demands that war becomes an option only after all peaceful avenues have been exhausted. Another proof of this is the fact that God ordained armed jihad only after 13 years of the Prophethood of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh).Futhermore, the Prophet’s history points to the fact that Islam spread faster following the Hudaibiyah Peace Treaty, which ended the conflict between the people of Mecca and Medina. The number of converts to Islam after the Peace Treaty was more than the sum total of converts from the beginning of his prophethood till the introduction of the Peace Treaty.

Does Islam permit war only to defend the Muslims?

No, Islam permits the Muslims to carry arms to defend those who are oppressed or persecuted irrespective of their race or religion (The Quran, 22:40). The Quranstates that God will ensure that a group of people who can reject and stop the evils and aggressions from another group will emerge till all the mosques, churches and other places of worship are saved from destruction. This indicates that rejecting evil deeds of any kind is not just to ensure the safety of Muslims but the safety of all. In this, it is very clear that Islam is an inclusive religion, which seeks to securethe rights and safety of all members of a society. This is also in line with Islam being a religion of mercy for all mankind.

This is NOT ISLAM

Bombing civilian infrastructure and murdering civilians INTENTIONALLY - THIS IS NOT ISLAM, BY THE WAY, PEOPLE.

Islam comes from the Qur'an and the Sunnah of Muhammad (pbuh), not from the actions of deviants.
